Adaptive Watersports - A New Kind of Freedom

Thanks to the support of our sponsors and modern technology, Adaptive Adventures offers a variety of water sports and water recreation opportunities.

Adaptive Skiing - The Homeless Ski School

The Adaptive Adventures PSIA Adaptive Ski School Adaptive Skiing - Disabled Skiing - Adaptive Powdercat Skiing - Mono-Skiingworks hard to deliver affordable programs and technical assistance to improve the overall quality and safety of adaptive skiing. Our comprehensive program includes both Alpine and Nordic adaptive skiing opportunities and are designed to safely increase the number of individuals with disabilities participating in winter sports.

Wounded Military Program

Supporting Our Wounded Heroes

adaptive skiing for wounded militaryAdaptive Adventures Wounded Military Program provides support and mentoring to American servicemen and women who've sustained permanent physical injuries. The program works with recently injured military personnel still in the Army Hospitals as well as Veterans post-rehabilitation. Veterans are introduced to a broad range of outdoor sports opportunities and adaptive technology and techniques through Adaptive Adventures all season clinics, camps, and adventure trips.

Cycling Experience

Freedom Through Mobility

Adaptive Cycling and HandcyclingAdaptive Adventures cycling program provides a variety of recreational rides, clinics, and youth camps as well as races and training programs to meet a broad range of our participants needs. Our flagship Adaptive Cycling trailer is located in Denver, Colorado, with a growing program at our satellite office in Chicago, Illinois. With expanded recreational programs, kids camps, clinics, and group rides, Adaptive Adventures put more people on bikes then ever before in 2009!

Changing Lives One Child at a Time

Adaptive Sports for KidsThe Adaptive Sports for Kids (“ASK”) Program is designed for children and young adults with physical disabilities age 6 to 20, to learn and experience various sports in a fun and exciting environment. ASK utilizes sports as a vehicle to encourage youth with physical challenges to get outside, make new friends, gain confidence, and explore their independence.

Each year, as the number of disabled individuals grows, it becomes more evident that we must educate the generations of tomorrow about creating expanded horizons and independence for disabled individuals and erasing social barriers.
