The [Adaptive Adventures] Stars Youth Ski Camp was great...Hannah loved it. She had an instructor named Dana, and Carol the volunteer. What a team. Hannah learned a lot more about life than skiing! She can’t wait to go next year...My only regret is that we didn’t do this sooner (previous years). THANKS THANKS THANKS! - Kristen - Mother of Hannah age 14
To Adaptive Adventures, I just wanted to thank you for the best days of my entire life. The skiing was great and I learned more than I thought I would. - All Mountain Camp Participant

Throughout the country, each year more and more camps and organized group activities are being created to offer people with disabilities an opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors on the water. Thanks to the support of our sponsors and modern technology, Adaptive Adventures offers a variety of water sports and water recreation opportunities.
works hard to deliver affordable programs and technical assistance to improve the overall quality and safety of adaptive skiing. Our comprehensive program includes both Alpine and Nordic adaptive skiing opportunities and are designed to safely increase the number of individuals with disabilities participating in winter sports.
Adaptive Adventures Wounded Military Program provides support and mentoring to American servicemen and women who've sustained permanent physical injuries. The program works with recently injured military personnel still in the Army Hospitals as well as Veterans post-rehabilitation. Veterans are introduced to a broad range of outdoor sports opportunities and adaptive technology and techniques through Adaptive Adventures all season clinics, camps, and adventure trips.
Adaptive Adventures cycling program provides a variety of recreational rides, clinics, and youth camps as well as races and training programs to meet a broad range of our participants needs. Our flagship Adaptive Cycling trailer is located in Denver, Colorado, with a growing program at our satellite office in Chicago, Illinois. With expanded recreational programs, kids camps, clinics, and group rides, Adaptive Adventures put more people on bikes then ever before in 2009!
The Adaptive Sports for Kids (“ASK”) Program is designed for children and young adults with physical disabilities age 6 to 20, to learn and experience various sports in a fun and exciting environment. ASK utilizes sports as a vehicle to encourage youth with physical challenges to get outside, make new friends, gain confidence, and explore their independence.
Education and information continue to provide the best vehicle for overcoming many of the issues and problems facing people with disabilities of all ages. Each year, as the number of disabled individuals grows, it becomes more evident that we must educate the generations of tomorrow about creating expanded horizons and independence for disabled individuals and erasing social barriers.
