Lizzy
Elizabeth Neufeld
Elizabeth Neufeld comes to Adaptive Adventures at a turning point in the organization. The addition of a Managing Director will help us continue to fuel the growth we have experienced with programs and participants since our inception 11 years ago. We are fortunate that Lizzy is able to join us. She brings a wealth of experience from Kartemquin Educational Films, where she served as the Director of Development. She helped that company achieve its contribution revenue goals by ushering in a new era of fundraising, with a focus on developing sustainable systems. Her prior experience also includes Executive Director of the @properties Friends and Neighbors Community Fund, raising money for local Chicago nonproi ts. She was also a director of the “Range of Motion Project”, ROMP, a nonprofit that provides access to prosthetic and orthotic devices for those living with disabilities in developing countries. Lizzie has consulted with a variety of companies in helping them establish a corporate-giving structure and philanthropy model, including developing successful strategic caused-based marketing plans. Before coming to Chicago she worked at the United Way of Greater Los Angeles. Lizzie is looking forward to helping Adaptive Adventures create a long standing culture of philanthropy and increasing the number of progressive programs Adaptive Adventures can offer to disabled individuals throughout the country.
