Born and raised on the east coast, Melissa “Hobs” Hobkirk followed her love of the outdoors and moved to Colorado. After earning a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Colorado, she combined her education and Peace Corps experience managing to find a dream career in adaptive sports.  She has done non-profit development work supporting adaptive sports organizations in Crested Butte and is now part of the Adaptive Adventures team as of fall 2011 in Boulder.
