Re: USSA Adaptive Domestic Coach of the Year
Dear Mau,
I want to congratulate you on having been selected to receive the 2011 USSA Adaptive Domestic Coach of the Year Award. USSA Coach of the Year Awards are made in each sport to a USSA staff or USSA Competition Club coach based on outstanding contribution to either the domestic program or international program, resulting in high-level performance of his or her athletes in domestic or international competition during the past season. Each USSA Sport Committee makes selections. The sport committee wrote for your nomination, “Mau began her coaching career with the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) in Winter Park, Colorado. She has continued developing athletes through Adaptive Adventures 'Team Mau'. She has shown consistency, dedication, and love for the sport through her continued involvement in development at the grass roots level. Many athletes have begun their careers with Mau’s guidance through her outreach program. She travels throughout the nation recruiting new athletes to the sport."
You are to be congratulated on your achievements and take pride in being recognized for your leadership.
Your award will be presented during the USSA Congress 2011 at our Chairman’s Awards Dinner, Friday at 6:30 p.m., May 20 at the Park City Marriott. I hope that you and a guest will be able to join us for the presentation. If not, we will ensure that your award is sent to you.
Again, our congratulations!
Sincerely,
Bill Marolt
President & CEO
