Nordic Skiing

Adaptive Adventures PSIA Ski School started a cross country ski program for all abilities in 2002, under the leadership of co-founder and avid cross country skier Matt Feeney. We work with standup and sit-down skiers with a wide range of physical disabilities offering the latest in adaptive equipment and instruction. In conjunction with several central Colorado Nordic centers, we offer instruction on extensive groomed and maintained terrain. Adaptive Adventures was the lead partner with Disabled Sports USA in introducing cross country skiing at the Harford Ski Specatular in 2003 and continues to provide Train the Trainer clinics each season. NOTE: Most Programs are Reservation Only.

In addition, our program ventures into the backcountry each season to get away from groomed terrain. The annual Hut Trip and a the New Year's Eve Group Ski are both chances to experience the natural beauty of the Colorado Rockies!
