VETERANS SKI DAY AT ALPINE VALLEY - With RIC SPORTS Military Camp

Adaptive Adventures head ski coach, Mau Thompson will be in town to lead the skiing portion of the RIC Sports Military Sports camp.

2012 is the second year for the Adaptive Adventures / GLASA Midwest Adaptive Ski & Ride program. We have been working for months to raise funds, purchase adaptive equipment, train volunteer instructors, and develop a plan with Wilmot Mountain. We are very pleased with our progress to date.

Our primary goals for all participants in the program are Safety, FUN, and Learning. The number of lessons we will be able to offer this first season is directly tied to our available resources and our ability to offer a Safe and Fun experience.

* Our limited resources will not be able to meet the demand we are receiving for lessons in 2012. We are setting up this sign-up procedure in order to maximize lesson opportunities. We will expand these opportunities as the program develops.
