STARS of Tomorrow Youth Sports Camp

Colorado's best youth sports camp of the summer! Stars of Tomorrow Youth Sports Camp at Sloan's Lake is an opportunity for youth with physical disabilities to experience handcycling, water-skiing, kayaking, arts and crafts projects and more! Ages 6-18. FREE to participants! The camp also includes lunch and snacks. Meet new friends while learning new sports and enjoy the last week of hot summer day at Denver Sloan's Lake.
Campers: are age 8 to 18, and have a physical disability that prevents them from participating equally with their able-bodied peers. Campers attend free of charge so that no deserving child is denied the chance to attend. Friends and family are welcome to join this camp, we ask donation for extra lunch.
Sports: includes waterskiing, kayaking, cycling, handcycling, and art & craft projects.
Camp time: is 9:30 am to 3:30 pm each day. You can attend both days or one day.
Staff: include instructors and counselors, some of them also have physical disabiltiies.
Direction: Once in Denver, take Colfax Ave. west to Sheridan Blvd and go North (right). Less than a mile, you will see the lake on the right. Turn right on Byron St. and look for the boathouse, tents and docks (about 1/2 mile) on the right hand side. If you have trouble finding Sloan's Lake call Mau @ 970-531-0498.
