Volunteers at adaptive cycling clinic

As a volunteer with Adaptive Adventures, you will have the opportunity to interact with people of all abilities and take advantage of the many activities we offer.  While we have sporting events all over the country, our main focus is in Colorado and the Greater Chicago Area. In the winter we have alpine and Nordic skiing and snowboarding while in the summer we offer kayaking, cycling, wakeboarding, and sailing. Whether it is assisting a participant in an outdoor activity, helping in the office or spearheading a special event, we encourage you to become involved in the areas that most interest you.

Adaptive Adventures programs are fun for both the participants and the volunteers. It is hard not to have fun while skiing, paddling, cycling, or volunteering in any of the other activities. Many volunteers have been heard saying, "I get just as much out of the program as the participant does." Most volunteers are not sure what to expect when they first get involved, but end up enjoying it so much they come back year after year.

If you would like to make a difference in someone’s life, please join our team and register as a volunteer.  Welcome!

Volunteer Spotlight - Mark and Cindy Ball

Volunteers Mark and Cindy BallWe hear it again and again…our lives are so busy, that it’s hard to do something for someone else. That’s not part of this husband and wife team’s vocabulary. Mark and Cindy Ball truly define the spirit of volunteerism and from the very start, they have helped Adaptive Adventures define and pursue its mission.
