Board Secretary

Honey joined Adaptive Adventures first as a participant, then as an Administrative Assistant and later as a member of the Board of Directors. Honey is an above the knee amputee who lost her leg to cancer when she was just ten years old. Her interest in adaptive sports and her positive experience with Adaptive Adventures as a participant inspired her to join the Board of Directors. Honey has a PhD degree in Cellular Biology, she has an extensive background in orthopedic science research and currently works as an instructor at Andschutz Medical Campus, University of Colorado. She is a member of Adaptive Adventures Dragon Boat Racing team and enjoys adaptive cycling.
