Sankalpa Dashrath

Sankalpa is an experienced leader in the strategy consulting space with 15+ years of proven success in leading teams, devising and executing business strategies, assessing and improving organizations, strategically advising C-suite clients and managing P&Ls. Sankalpa holds two Masters degrees; an MA from Columbia University, New York and an MBA from IIMP, India.

Sankalpa was born in India, grew up in the US, and is a recent transplant to Denver by way of New York, Washington DC, and San Francisco.

Sankalpa is an avid traveler and has been to 43 countries. She is also a certified wine sommelier and currently studying for her level 3 of the WSET certification. Sankalpa loves the outdoors. In the summer, she spends her weekends hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding. In the winter, she reluctantly snowboards and enthusiastically snow-shoes.

Sankalpa joined the Adaptive Adventures board in 2023. A chance meeting with the Adaptive Adventures team at the Big Gear Show expo in Denver had her in a harness and climbing every week since. Her passion for creating diversity and equity in the outdoor sports world is aligned with Adaptive Adventure’s mission.

Sankalpa’s name means “to make a resolution of the highest order” in Sanskrit and she is committed to bringing that resolve to her position on the board at Adaptive Adventures.
