Ariana Wilson
Adaptive Sports Coordinator, CTRS
Ariana brings energy, warmth, and a deep love of adaptive recreation to Adaptive Adventures. She holds a MS in Recreation Management & Policy (Therapeutic Recreation Administration) from the University of New Hampshire. Her passion for adaptive sports began during an internship with the U.S. Paralympic Committee, where she supported athletes at the Rio 2016 Paralympics Games, a defining experience that sparked her dedication to inclusive adventure.
Ariana’s experience spans community-based, competitive sport, and adaptive recreation across all ages and abilities. At the City of Longmont, she planned and facilitated inclusive programs that supported social connection, skill development, community engagement, and personal growth. Her work with Northeast Passage deepened her skills in adaptive cycling, kayaking and other paddlesports, school and community-based therapeutic recreation, veteran programming, and competitive wheelchair rugby.
Driven by the belief in the transformative power of adventure and sport, Ariana is passionate about meeting participants where they are and creating opportunities that build confidence, connection, and independence.
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Ariana now enjoys exploring Colorado with her wife, Stephanie, and their three dogs – Koda, Marston, and Jett. Whether running, hiking, kayaking, or curled up on the couch with a movie or book and three pups fighting for snuggle space, she’s happiest surrounded by her crew.
