Cynthia joined the Adaptive Adventures team in 2015, bringing extensive experience in nonprofit accounting, financial management, and organizational operations. Prior to focusing her career on the nonprofit sector, she worked as a CPA and auditor, developing a strong foundation in financial oversight, accountability, and compliance. Cynthia is passionate about creating efficiencies and ensuring the organization’s financial and administrative systems operate effectively to support continued growth and long-term sustainability. She also brings a meaningful personal connection to the mission as the parent of a child with a physical disability, providing valuable lived experience and perspective to her work at Adaptive Adventures.
