Rob Bingham
Development Director
Rob Bingham is a career Aviation Officer and Black Hawk helicopter pilot in the Colorado Army National Guard. He is a Veteran of two combat deployments as well as one NATO peacekeeping deployment.
Rob is a leader in the local Colorado Veteran community. He is the Founder of Colorado Veterans Project, one of the largest Veteran event-oriented nonprofit organizations in the state. Rob has worked in the nonprofit, government, and corporate giving sector since 2010 and has a passion for positively impacting his community.
One of Rob’s proudest accomplishments is the invention and continuation of the Memorial Day Run & March event in 2015 in which his team raises over $100,000 and 40,000 pounds of food annually to help feed local homeless Veterans. He has served as Chair of the Denver Veterans Day Parade from 2014 – 2020 and is recognized for growing the audience from 800 to over 45,0000.
Rob currently serves as the Chair of FOX31’s Serving Those Who Serve Advisory Board. He also serves in advisory roles for Operation Equine, Stripes to Bars, Colorado Veterans Project and volunteers his time to consult with many more.
Though community service is his professional passion, his personal passions include snowboarding with his wife (Laura), hiking with his dogs (Sydney, Goose, & Brewster), and recreational aviation.
Rob proudly joined the Adaptive Adventures team in 2022 to help grow the organization and promote all their amazing programs and events.
