Adaptive Sports Coordinator
Tom was an elementary school teacher for 16 years, with a master’s degree in administration.
He has a love of coaching both young and old. He left the teaching field in 2005 to work for the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) for the love of sport and coaching. After 15 years, he then worked for the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) – Wisconsin Chapter.
He began working with Adaptive Adventures in May 2023, still able to work with young and old and enjoy the recreational side of sport. Tom is a “master tinkerer” and enjoys the challenge of adapting whatever piece of equipment comes his way.
When not working, Tom likes to go hiking, biking, and golfing. He is a proud new grandfather as of March 2023 to a grandson, Oliver Thomas.
