We are dedicated to partnering with equipment manufacturers, University Human Engineering programs and outdoor retailers to reduce barriers through disruptive technology, to build up the skills and knowledge of our future innovators and to create a more inclusive community. Our team utilizes garage innovation while on the road to make experiences possible for individuals with unique disabilities and circumstances. We are continuously taking on projects to strategize solutions and provide expertise to create a more accessible and inclusive world. 

Adaptive Adventures Student Solutions Program

Are you a student interested in an adaptive sports innovation project? Are you a professor looking for a class or department engineering project? Apply for the Student Solutions program with Adaptive Adventures in partnership with the BAE Systems Tech Power program. Not only will you receive guidance, expertise and live scenarios experience with our team but you will also receive project oversight and mentorship from BAE Systems Innovating for Impact team. Evolv

We are proud to partner with Evolv in the development and distribution of the Evolve Adaptive Foot. National Climbing Manager, Craig DeMartino spearheads this effort ensuring more amputees have access to this adaptation and more climbing gyms across the country have training and possession of this inclusive equipment.

One Arm Freedom Paddle
Dillenschneider Designs LLC

We have worked extensively over the years with Cindy Dillenschneider, the creator of the One-Arm Freedom Canoe Paddle. Together we have created a system that is effective for utilization in our Team Blue Dragon Boat Racing Program. We continue to refine the system to help serve more individuals with paralysis and limb loss in dragon boat racing specifically.

Arc'Teryx Problem Solvers

Designer Kai Lin and Adaptive Adventures National Climbing Manager, Craig DeMartino teamed up to engineer a prosthetic foot for rock climbers. Their journey is documented in  Arc'Teryx's film "Out On A Limb". The film received a Special Jury Mention in the 2019 Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival and was selected as a Staff Pick Best Of The Year by Vimeo.
