Development Assistant

Justin is a retired US Army Captain that spent over 16 years serving in our military before being medically retired from active duty in May of 2013. Justin is a native of North Denver, a graduate of Denver North High School. Upon graduation he immediately left and began serving in the military. He served in the 75th Ranger Regiment as a young enlisted Soldier and as an officer he served in the 1st Cavalry Division, 1st Armored Division, and First Army.

He continued his education at Auburn University and graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a degree in economics prior to his service as an officer. After taking some time to adjust following his retirement, he chose to pursue a master’s degree in nonprofit management as an avenue to give back to the community. In December of 2017 Justin graduated with his master’s degree with honors from Regis University in Denver.

While serving Justin suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury which ultimately led to his retirement and he has since developed a strong desire to help serve those who have served in our military. Justin lives with his 12-year old son and their two dogs in Superior, CO.
