Monica Jabaay

Monica Jabaay graduated from Loyola University Chicago May 2017 with a degree in Exercise Science. In college, she became involved in adaptive sports and took her first internship at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab where she became passionate about adaptive rock climbing and other adaptive sports. The winter of her senior year in college, Monica interned at Adaptive Adventures. Her knowledge of adaptive sports grew further as she learned about adaptive snow skiing. After college Monica moved out to Colorado to intern for Challenge Aspen and later took a job teaching adaptive snow skiing. After the ski season ended Monica moved back to Chicago and joined the Adaptive Adventures team in May 2018.

In her spare time, Monica enjoys rock climbing, snow skiing, and hiking. She is an avid reader whose favorite genre is mysteries. Monica also enjoys hanging out with her family and playing with her Flemish Giant Rabbit, Buddy who is the size of an average cat.
